Gluten Free Almond Crusted Pizza

SERVES 2

INGREDIENTS
Almond Crusted Pizza Base
2 cups Almond Flour
1⁄2 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Dried Oregano
1 tsp Salt
1⁄4 tsp Pepper
2 Eggs
Toppings (add your favourites!)
Tomato Paste
Tasty Cheese
Ham
Red Onion
Fresh Basil

METHOD
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
2. In a bowl, add flour, baking powder, garlic powder, oregano, salt and pepper. Stir
to combine.
3. Create a well in the centre, crack the eggs and stir to combine. Form mixture
into a ball.
4. Place mixture on top of a lined baking tray. Cover mixture with a separate piece
of baking paper. Using a roller, gently roll the top sheet of baking paper, until the
mixture is 1⁄2 cm in thickness. Peel off the top sheet of baking paper. Using a knife or
spoon, gentle press in the edges of the pizza to form a smooth edge.
5. Place in the oven and bake for 7 minutes.
6. Remove from the oven and spread tomato paste on top of almond crust.
7. Place toppings on pizza.
8. Bake for a further 5-7 minutes or until base has crisped and cheese has
melted.
9. Top with fresh basil. Slice & serve.
